ELECTRONIC ID CARD FOR GEORGIAN CITIZENS
In order to obtain an Electronic ID Card, it is mandatory to appear at the Consulate General of Georgia in person. An appointment must be made prior to appearing at the Consulate General of Georgia.
Electronic ID Cards issued for citizens under age of 18 will have 4-years validity. Electronic Identity Cards issued for citizens over the age of 18 will have 10-year validity.
Please bring the following documents:
- Copy of Identity Card, Passport or Birth Certificate;
- A money order in the amount of $30 USD written out to the Consulate General of Georgia in NY;
- A prepaid envelope with a return address if a citizen would like his/her Electronic ID Card to be sent by mail.
Please note that the Electronic ID Card will be completed within 45 days after the application and necessary documents are submitted.
